Hi :)

My name is Maryna, and I am an illustrator from Kyiv, Ukraine, based in Porto, Portugal.

I specialize in creating adult coloring books and commercial color illustrations, collaborating with publishers in Europe, the United States, and Ukraine.

I am a single mother of two children. In 2022, due to the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, I was forced to move to Germany with my children.

Two years later, we relocated to Portugal. I’m unsure where we will end up in the near future, but for now, I’m trying to enjoy this incredible country, with its beauty, delicious food, and kind, open people.

In the past, I worked for many years creating concepts and character designs for video games, animation projects, and more. Gradually, I began focusing more on illustration, as I wanted to spend more time creating my own worlds and characters.

In 2023, I completed my first major coloring book “A million Christmas furry”, which significantly changed my perspective on illustration. This opened up a whole universe of coloring books and introduced me to a vast international community.

Now, I dedicate most of my time to developing my Etsy shop and working on coloring and illustration projects. I also continue to learn new skills and gain knowledge in areas such as comics, book illustration, branding, and marketing.

The past few years have been stressful for me, but immersing myself in my artistic worlds has been a source of solace. I also have a passion for cooking and plan to return to sewing, which I used to enjoy. I love taking walks in nature, running, and watching the ocean.
